Many thanks to Mr Moran and his team of excellent TY coaches/referees who hosted a wonderful Spikeball blitz on Thursday, May 19th. Well done to Mullinahone who won it out. Vincent and Kealy tell us all about it.
"Today we had a Spikeball blitz. It was great craic. Our team was called 'The Spuds'. Emma, Emer, Michael Long, Michael Blake and Andrew were on my team. We won one game and lost one. At the end we got sweets and awards were given out. Thanks to Mr Moran for organising it and to Megan, Katie and Maria for the training. I loved Spikeball and in the future I hope Our Lady's do well in it."

"Today my classroom participated in a Spikeball blitz. My team was Aaron Dunne, Shane Burns, Bonnie Hehir, Kieran Murray, Isabell Foy and myself. The first team we played was from Lisnamrock. After that we played another team from Lisnamrock and we won by just a point. We made it to the semi-finals. We played against Mullinahone. We were losing by four points but in the end we came back and won by two. We played another Mullinahone team in the final. At half time we were up by two points. Sadly we lost. After the blitz was over they chose a poster which they felt was the best. The also gave out awards for the 'Most Improved' and for the 'Most Team Spirit'. I won 'Most Improved' and Fionn O'Brien won 'Most Team Spirit'. It was a wonderful day."
