Just a little reminder......
Pancake Tuesday
The day before Pancake Tuesday pupils from our class were called to make some pancake dough. Emer, Isabelle and I were the last ones out and we made a lot of pancake dough. We got 1200ml of milk, four eggs and 400 grams of flour I think. We put them all together and put it in the mixer. The next day i was very excited. 5th class was called out. As we got to the parents room where the pancakes where the smell loomed everywhere. We sat down and was asked what we wanted on our pancakes. I had asked for chocolate on mine. We we each got sheets and then the pancakes came! The pancakes were very nice and when we finished we thanked the parents. We went back to our room and the it was the 6th class turn!

Writers of the Month - January
In a bid to further improve the standard of penmanship in Our Lady's N.S. Ms O'Sullivan announced the inaugural winners of the Writer of the Month Award. Each month the student from each class who has paid the most attention to their handwriting and presentation will receive a certificate to acknowledge their efforts. Well done to the January winners pictured above.
Class of the Month - January
Third and Fourth Class made a great start to the New Year and got their first 'Class of the Month' win under their belt. Everybody noticed the huge improvement Ms O'Sullivan's charges made in their lines and this coupled with their customary good behaviour in class secured the win.
Class of the Month - December
First and Second Class picked up their second 'Class of the Month' award in December. With all the excitement about Christmas we forgot to post the picture! Mrs O'Dea's Class were deserved winners and they enjoyed their two nights off homework when the rest of us were slogging away in January.
