Senior Tour to Dunmore East

Just a few photos from today's action packed tour to Dunmore East Adventure Centre.

More sporting history was created on Friday when Our Lady's N.S. fielded a ladies football team for the first time in a competitive fixture. A sixteen strong panel, led by captain Isabell Foy took part in a Peil na mBan blitz in Monroe.

After winning two of their group games our girls qualified for the Roinn E Shield Final. Despite taking the lead midway during the second half, our girls heartbreakingly ended up losing by a point. Nevertheless they can be truly proud of the effort, skill and determination they displayed throughout the day.

Green Flag

The weather was against us on Thursday, June 8th as we attempted to raise our third Green Flag. The flag was for the 'Water' theme and there was no shortage of the stuff falling on our heads. Cormac Boylan, the youngest member of the Green Schools committee did the honours. Well done to Mrs O'Dea and the committee for all their hard work again this year.
